YOHESOR is an independent, non-partisan, non-governmental organization dedicated to rigorous research and advocacy on youth health issues in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our commitment is to examine public policies, support processes, and disseminate best practices. YOHESOR aims to help the Sub-Saharan African Governments and their agencies realize the goals of youth help concerning the range of approaches to preventing, detecting, or treating young people's health and social well-being (WHO 2001). OUR OBJECTIVES TO PROMOTE PROACTIVE RESEARCH, ADVOCACY, AND SUPPORT SERVICES that cut across a broad range of subjects in the development and implementation of national health policies and programs for adolescents.
MISSION: To create a demand-driven research organization addressing youth health issues and social reforms in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. As well as to be a recognized authority on youth health policy issues, ( that is quoted, referenced, or engaged in a substantial number of all Youth health policy issues). VISION: To strive for the substantial attainment, particularly in Nigeria and across Sub-Saharan Africa, of national health policies and programs for adolescents. This includes goals and indicators aimed at promoting their physical and mental health.
