Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, is proud to announce the appointment of Barr. Rosemary Ifeoma Nwokike as its new Registrar. Known for her dedication to academic administration and her vision for transformative education, Barr. Nwokike brings extensive experience to this new role, having held numerous key positions within the University of Nigeria’s Registry Department.
Beyond her university roles, Barr. Nwokike has made a meaningful impact in social reform. Since her appointment to the Board of Trustees of the Youth, Health, and Social Reforms Organization (YOHESOR) on October 4, 2013, she has emerged as a driving force for change. Her journey with YOHESOR is marked by vision, resilience, and a commitment to empowering young people while advancing health and social reforms across Nigeria. Her work with YOHESOR has not only demonstrated her dedication to youth and community health but also her strong belief in building a more inclusive society.
With her unique blend of experience in education and social reform, Barr. Nwokike is poised to lead UNIZIK into a future focused on excellence, growth, and community development. Her appointment represents a new chapter for the university, with fresh momentum toward its mission of becoming a world-class institution.
