Professor Ugochukwu Bond Anyaehie:

Celebrating Professor Ugochukwu Bond Anyaehie: A Trusted YOHESOR Leader and the New Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University

The Youth Health and Social Reform Organization (YOHESOR) is proud to celebrate one of its most dedicated leaders, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Anyaehie, on his recent appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State.

For us at YOHESOR, this is more than a national achievement it is a deeply personal moment. It is the recognition of a man who has walked with us, supported us, and strengthened our mission for almost a decade.

A Leader Who Has Walked With YOHESOR Since 2004

Professor Anyaehie has been part of the YOHESOR family since 2004, and in fact, he played a foundational role in the early days of the organization including taking charge of the official registration of YOHESOR. His commitment to youth empowerment, education, and social development has been evident from the very beginning.
In 2016, during a significant national stakeholder engagement in Calabar the UBEC Management Meeting with all SUBEB Chairmen from across the federation Professor Anyaehie was not just in attendance; he was one of the guiding voices.

He was among the leading members of the YOHESOR delegation who presented our youth-centered agenda and helped introduce the Valid Value Project, one of our earliest initiatives focused on instilling values, leadership, discipline, and social responsibility among young Nigerians.

His presence at that meeting and the strength of the presentation helped position YOHESOR as a serious youth-focused NGO with a vision for national impact. Many members of the UBEC board and SUBEB chairmen still remember that presentation today.

We will be sharing some of those memorable photos from the Calabar engagement moments that reflect commitment, teamwork, and purpose.
